"My family is forever grateful to Andrew McGarry. He starting training my daughter (Destiny Stephens) about 2 and 1/2 years ago. She went from never playing basketball to a player that made Grand Blanc High School varsity basketball as a freshman. He continues to train her as she is entering her sophomore year of high school. Due to the hard work and training under Max Basketball, Destiny is viewed as one of the top players of her class (2012) in the state of Michigan. She is being recruited by numerous Division 1 and Division 2 schools.  "I started training with Andy during the summer before my senior year. My junior year I was originally cut from my High School Varsity squad. So during the next off season I decided to put a lot of time and work in. Before my senior basketball season started I had gained between 3 and 6 inches of vertical jump from the Vertimax training I went through at Planet Hoops. On top of that I became a much better all around basketball player from training with Andy. I went from being cut my junior year to the M.V.P of the team my senior season, but it didn’t stop there. Andy also helped me get a scholarship to go play in college. I was never recruited to play college ball but within two weeks after a skills camp I attended at Planet Hoops I was receiving phone calls from 3 different colleges. Thanks to the training and recruiting help I received from Andy,  I had a chance to play college ball and get part of my schooling paid for. I kept training with them and advancing my skills until I left for college. Now, I have just finished my freshmen basketball season at Davenport University and I thank the training and advice I received. If it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t be playing college basketball.
